Harvest Thanksgiving was celebrated on Sunday 2nd October in the Cathedral. The visiting preacher was Canon Robert Howard from the parishes of Annahilt & Magherahamlet, Dromore Diocese.
The choir sang the anthem 'thou visitest the earth' and at the conclusion of the service the 'sunflower cup' was presented to the young person with the tallest sunflower, and prizes were also presented to past pupils of Christ Church National School for coming 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Religious Education examination for Church of Ireland pupils in sixth class in any National School in the United Dioceses of Cashel, Ferns & Ossory.
