2008 Valentine's Ball

The Foundation was set a challenging fundraising target of €4 million in 2001 to be used for the restoration and development of the cathedral, one of the city's most significant buildings. To date, €3.5 million has been secured thanks to the generosity of the present Government, Waterford City Council, the local business community and many individual supporters.
Christ Church Waterford Foundation Golf Classic

Faithlegg Golf Club
Recognised as one of the top golfing events in the South East golfing calender, Christ Church Waterford Foundation hosted its fourth annual golf class on Thursday, 1st June. The event was a huge success. The amount raised set a new record with an amazing €42,000 going to Christ Church Waterford Foundation. Golfers on the day were thrilled with the fabulous array of prizes on offer including first prize of a golf package for two people at the champion Druid's Glen course and second prize of a similiar package to the wonderful Castleknock Golf and Country Club.
All proceeds from this golf classic will go to the second phase of restoration which will commence this autumn.

The second annual Valentine's Day fundraising ball was held in The Tower Hotel on Saturday, 11th February. The Ball We would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters for making this second ball a major calender event for Waterford. The Ball was a rounding successAll proceeds will be used for the restoration and development of Christ Church, Waterford.
Sure Foundation Golf Classic

The Sure Foundation Golf Classic has become the premier golf outing in the south east. The 2005 event proved to be better than ever and offered golfers the perfect opportunity to entertain clients while supporting Christ Church Cathedral.

2005 Valentines Ball
A Valentines Ball was held on February 12th 2005 as a fundraiser for the restoration fund. This was very successful, raising over €30,000 and established an annual Valentines Ball event.
