The silent film Metropolis is set in the future, when society has been divided into two rigid groups: one of planners or thinkers, who live high above the earth in luxury, and another of workers who live underground labouring to sustain the lives of the privileged. And like all good films there is a love story that crosses the divide, where the son of the boss falls in love with the beautiful worker in the machine room.

Selected as the National Concert Hall 2009 "Rising Star" and appearing regularly as a guest of "The Chieftans" around the world, Redmond O'Toole is the first to adapt to Paul Galbraith's 8-string guitar, played in the position of a cello, which allows him an extension of range, colour and repertoire. Through his unorthodox playing style and committed musicianship, Redmond O'Toole has emerged as one of the most innovative and exciting young guitarists in Europe. "Sisters in song with heart gripping voices and distinct timbre" The Irish Times
"Former Bothy Band singer Tiona Ni Dhomhnaill combines with her sister Maighread to form what is perhaps the most stunning Irish singing that can be heard today." The Boston Globe
Sisters Maighread and Triona Ni Dhomhnaill belong to one of the most renowned singing families of the Donegal Gaeltacht. The unique style and repertoire of traditional singing, which they represent so gloriously, comes down to them through generations of the O Domhnaill family. Originally this kind of traditional singing described as 'sean nos', literally 'old style' was sung unaccompanied and was melodic. Maighread and Triona are among the finest of the younger generation of traditional singers who continue to sing in the old way. Added to this is their distinctive unison and harmonic interpretations of Donegal songs and their fluent and accomplished singing to instrumental accompaniment. Their live performances are unforgettable heart rending events marked by high tides of emotion running on both sides of the stage. The sound of their solo and combined voices is indescribable but lingers in the memory forever. No opportunity to hear them should be missed. The listener will be enriched immeasurably by the experience.
